QUESTIONS

ARTICLE 3:
Shall the district authorize the school board to enter into a three-year lease
agreement for facilities development services to develop a guaranteed maximum
price for additions, renovations, and capital improvements to the Oyster River
High School; and to raise and appropriate the sum of $20,000 for the first year
payment for that purpose of an obligation not to exceed $55,000?

ARTICLE 4:

the unanticipated expenses of the district in special education?

ARTICLE 5:
Shall the district vote to approve within the provisions of NH RSA 273-A:3 the

Oyster River Bus Drivers Association which calls for the following increases in
salaries over the prior year:

   1998-99         $6,908
   1999-00         $7,130
                             
and further to raise and appropriate the sum of $22,610 in 1997-98 for additional
costs attributable to the increase in benefits over those paid in the prior
fiscal year?

needs for school district facilities?

$17,541,130, distributed as follows:
Fund 1 - $16,603,629 (regular operating budget)
Fund 2 - $   466,500 (expenditures from federal/special revenues)
Fund 4 - $   471,000 (expenditures from food services)?

April 8, the operating budget shall be $15,879,820, which is the same as last
year, with certain adjustments required by previous action of the District or by
law, or the governing body may hold one special meeting, in accordance with RSA
40:13 X and XVI, to take up the issue of a revised operating budget only.]

(A total of 1698 ballots were cast on April 8 at the polls.  An additional 94
absentee ballots were cast for an overall total of 1792 ballots.)
