SCHOOL BOARD |
GOAL:
To responsibly serve the communities of the Oyster River School District as a
member of the school board by being a proactive leader in the quality and cost of
K-12 education.
VIEWS:
- Not single issue individual, will weigh all issues objectively.
- Realize there is a space needs issue for the high school and will
be open minded in a decision that is appropriate for the school district.
- Will help school board communicate issues effectively to the public.
- NH State decision on Claremont will provide many challenges for
the school district, prepared to deal with that decision as a responsible board
member.
- Work well as a team member with good organizational and
communication skills.
COMMUNITY:
- Madbury resident 14 years.
- Married (14 years) with 2 children (1st grade and preschool).
- Sunday school teacher (3 years).
- Parents Night Out Committee chair (Moharimet school, 2 years).
- Winter Carnival Committee chair (Moharimet school, 1 year).
BACKGROUND:
- Engineer at Sanders in Hudson, NH since 1983.
- Retired military (21 years total U.S. Air Force and NH Air National Guard).
- Northeastern University graduate 1988, MSEE.
- University of New Hampshire graduate 1983, BSEE.
