During my four years at Tyco's Corporate Headquarters in positions of Vice President-Chief Financial Officer and Vice President-Operations, Tyco's performance in sales and income dramatically improved. In my position as Vice President-Chief Financial Officer I assisted the President/Chief Executive Officer in reshaping Tyco's direction. As Vice President-Operations my responsibilities included acquisitions and problem corrections at existing operations.
I joined the Tyco Corporation as Controller at the Simplex Wire and Cable subsidiary in December 1974, held various positions with responsibilities for Personnel, Labor Relations, Purchasing, all Financial functions, Contract Negotiations and Security, and was promoted to Tyco Corporate in 1982.
Tyco, a "Fortune 500" Company, has had substantial growth in sales and income during this twelve year period while I was a key executive, yielding rewards to our stockholders.
