INTRODUCING NEW STAFF
Kathleen Ameduri: Special Education:
Ms. Ameduri has a Bachelor's degree from the University of
New Mexico with certification in early childhood education.
For the past four years she has taught special education
students in Albuquerque where she supported "full inclusion"
strategies for special needs students.
Michelle Parsons, Kindergarten:
Ms. Parsons earned a BS degree in Elementary Education from
the University of Maine at Orono. Her experience includes
employment as head kindergarten teacher, South Road
Kindergarten in Exeter, and special needs preschool teacher,
East Kingston (NH) Elementary School.
Nathan Grove, Social Studies:
Mr. Grove is a graduate of Bates College (BA) with
certification in history and social studies through Central
Connecticut State University. His most recent teaching
experience was at Ellington (CT) High School with earlier
experience at the New England Center for Autism, Southboro,
MA.
Lisa Miller, Mathematics:
Ms. Miller has earned BS and MS degrees in mathematics
education from the University College of New York at
Potsdam. She most recently taught grades 6-8 in the
Greenwich Township (NJ) school district, where she was
instrumental in revising math curriculum, establishing an
eighth grade algebra program, and incorporating
computer-based activities.
Eileen Moran, School Nurse:
Ms. Moran earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
from Columbia University, and has professional experience as
a school nurse at the Riletta Twyne Cream School (K-8) in
Camden, New Jersey. Earlier she interned as health
teacher/school nurse at the James Johnson School, Cherry
Hill, NJ.
Karen Penke, Health Education:
Ms. Penke earned a Bachelor's in physical education from
Niagara University with post-graduate work in health
education at the University of Vermont. Her professional
experience includes health and physical education teaching
at the Chittenden East School District, Richmond, VT.
Barbara Peterson Alexander, English:
Ms. Alexander earned her Bachelor's degree in psychology and
Master of Arts degree in English from UNH. Her professional
experience includes teaching English and theater at
Merrimack Valley High School, Penacook, NH
Martin Brewer, English:
Mr. Brewer earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of
Ulster (U.K.) with a Postgraduate Certificate from the West
Sussex Institute of Higher Education (U.K.). He has taught
English at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover and
English/drama in West Sussex, England.
Susan Coskren, Special Education:
Ms. Coskren has a Bachelor's degree in elementary education
and Master's in special education from UNH. Her professional
experience includes head teacher and multi-age K-4 in
Spotsylvania, VA, and Assistant to the Director of College
Counseling, Phillips Exeter Academy.
Timothy Lawrence, Art Education:
Mr. Lawrence earned BS and MS degrees in art from UNH, with
specialized course work at the Pratt Institute and the Art
Institute of Boston. His experience includes employment as a
commercial illustrator at the Harvard Law School where he
designed illustrations for interactive video.
