David K. Taylor

I am the editor and founder of OROL. I started OROL out of my frustration with the politics in the ORSD and in general. I would like to be more involved and better informed, and have more people more involved and better informed.

I am a software engineer at Cabletron in Durham, and the father of 3 young children. My eldest son, Alexander, attends first grade at Moharimet. I moved to Durham in late 1992 because I wanted good public schools for my children and I wanted to live close to my work. I am a member of the Moharimet Parent and Teacher's Organization.

I am an independent voter and have voted in Democratic and Republican primaries and for candidates of both parties and independents. I am a member of Citizens for Oyster River Education and have campaigned in support of schools in ORSD.
