Kay Glidden Remembered Some of you may have heard your children speak of "Yaya",or perhaps seen her at school and witnessed the enthusiasm and love she shared with Moharimet. Sadly, Kay passed away October 11, 1996 after a courageous battle with cancer. Kay had been a foster grandparent at Moharimet for the past six years, and her nickname "Yaya" was Greek for grandmother. Kay was committed to children and adults alike at Moharimet, and the children's affection and warm wishes comforted her greatly through her illness. As a staff we would like to do something special, so that Kay's memory may live on at Moharimet. We would like to start a summer camp scholarship fund to provideenriching summer experiences to thosechildren she loved so much. Staff, families and the communiii Staff, families and the communi, families and the community are invited to participate in this effort. If you would like to contribute to this lasting memorial, please contact either Jean Marquis or Gwen Ross. Thank you!
