Auction/Death by Chocolate Date: February 7th 6:30 Snow date: February 9th 1:00 * Moh Art News We are finishing line and color - two elements of Art. We will begin form and texture soon. We looked at VanGogh's paintings and compared them to Rembrandt's paintings. We talked about use of different colors and lines to make art. We discovered that you can draw anything with a few different types of lines. In our texture and shape unit, we will study sculpture and paintings of Degas and Klee. Our wish list: Volunteers to hang art in school - hang art in community; Art prints from cards, calendars, etc.; Volunteers to help students with large murals; any videos regarding art or artists; recyclables for sculptures; and old pair of binoculars for bird viewing of birds at bird feeder. Thanks, Eileen Carter * The Moharimet News is available on the World Wide Web of the Internet.
