Dear Parents,

I am now able to announce teacher assignments at Moharimet for the 1996-97 school year. They are listed below, along with teachers assigned to the Oyster River Middle School fifth grades. The responsibility for placement of children at Moharimet lies with the principal. However, it should be known that I collaborate with teachers, specialists and parents in the process of placement. My overall responsibility to children, teachers and board policy is to assure that each classroom is designed as a heterogeneous mix of children. No final placement of children will be made until the last day of school; at which time all placement of children in grades one through four will be made. Placement of kindergarten children will occur as early in the summer as possible. The placement of fifth grade students will begin at the respective elementary schools and be announced by the Middle School administration.
