Exciting days are ahead. The addition will be ready to move into on/before November 8th. The library will be closed November 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12. We will plan to reopen on the 13th. Please not that these dates are tentative and may change if construction is held up or construction proceeds faster than anticipated.
Once the library reopens patrons will enjoy a new quiet study/reference area, a new area for children and young adults and an all new adult fiction/nonfiction area.
The friends of the Lee Library fund-raising committee have launched a fund raising campaign to raise additional funds to purchase furnishings for the new and old library building. This money will help to finish the addition basement for storytimes and programs, purchase furniture and accessories for the new addition and existing rooms. Donations large and small are greatly appreciated. Check our out fund raising sign featuring Librarian Linda Morrill's mini dachshund. Max-Max is a frequent visitor to the library and has become the Library mascot.
