The Oyster River School Board, at its meeting of October 16, approved a recommendation to change the teacher workshop date (no school day for students) from Friday, January 31, 1997 to the preceding Monday, January 27, 1997. The purpose of the change is to coincide with the projected end first semester at the high school, providing for a one day student break/teacher workshop prior to the beginning of second semester. All schools K-12 are affected by this change in the workshop date.
