The High School accreditation has been placed on probation by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
In October 1997, the NEASC put the High School accreditation on warning in a letter to Principal Cairns.
In October, 1999 a 2-year progress report was filed with the NEASC detailing each item cited in the accreditation report.
In January, 2000 the NEASC recommended the High School for probation.
In March, 2000 the NEASC officially placed the High School on probation.
