The New Classroom Wing

This is a view of the architectural model of the proposed renovations to ORHS. This view shows the new classroom wing. It will be added across the middle of the main wing of the old building. The west end is at the top of the picture and the larger east end is at the bottom.

The new classroom wing will have 3 floors. There will be a commons area where each floor crosses the main wing. Each commons area will be similar with restrooms, a teachers' area, lockers, and a group instructional space. The model only shows the commons on the 3rd floor.

The 3rd floor will have 4 social studies classrooms at the west end. The east end will have 2 chemistry classrooms, 2 physics classrooms and 4 English classrooms.

The 2nd floor will have 2 social studies classrooms and 2 English classrooms at the west end. The east end will have 3 biology classrooms, 2 general science classrooms and 3 English classrooms.

The 1st floor will have 2 student services rooms, a health classroom, and a study hall at the west end. The east end will have 4 foreign language classrooms and a foreign language laboratory, an economics/accounting classroom with a computer area, a consumer science classroom and a consumer science kitchen.
